Must arises from the collaboration among Adriano Piazzesi's and Carlo Bimbi's long experience in furniture design and Arketipo, a firm with a definite international image especially in sofas production.
Already in the Seventies, Carlo Bimbi worked around the theme of modular furniture carrying out Metroquadro for A.T.I.. For this project he developed the concept of seating that, as a frame, receives a soft cushion inside and creates the space for backs introduction.
At the end of the Eighties, as he met Arketipo, Triclinium was born (1988) and, after a short time, Amarcord (1994). Common to both this projects was a clear and linear design, a trapezoidal plan and seating with two different widths: thanks to the sliding of the back you can have a relaxing or a conversation position.
In 2006 Must gathers the experience of Metroquadro and Triclinium, enriched by a light and suspended shape, by the movement of backs-arm easy to use thanks to a registered mechanism, and by an up-to-date and contemporary design.
The program Must has a wide range of elements form the fixed sofa to the trapezoidal with changeable width ones.
